Digi Pack analysis (album)
Here is my final album, which I have produced carefully to make sure it matches my artists style and theme. The black and white colour scheme is yet simple but straight forward in terms of elaborating her style in singing. In my opinion I beleive the image I have chosen to use this, for my front cover shows the realtionship between her audience and herself as an individual. However The music video we produced 3:16AM links with the artist in terms of her inner conscience and reality of her life and relationships. Furthermore, I do belive the colours I used portrays her image s well as her self as a whole.
Here is my final Digi pack which I have changed several times, to make sure that this reflects and broadens her style. The reason why I have chosen to make my album as well as my poster black and white is becuase I want to express my artist through her individuality and her style which is consiten through out her music video and digi pack. I also did not want to make my album to exotic and bold I rather wanted it to be simple and urban. The fact that I used trees as my original CD is because it relates to my music video and the settinhg of where I have filmed it, and where my artist had done her lip syncs to act out her narrative and her expressions. Furthermore, I have chosen close ups in my digi pack, becuase I want to express my artist through her style and character. This develops the codes and convention of an RnB soul CD, becuase they are explicit and mainstream, whereas my artist wants a simple advertisement to justify her songs through people who likes her songs and style as well as enjoying something that relates to thier background or thier individuality.
