In our preliminary task we had an option of  two music video to pick from. One being Wheatus "Dirtbag" and second The Saturdays "What about us".

 

The Saturdays "What about us" was our chosen music video to impressionate using shot to shot so it covers our understanding of how music videos are made and it contents for it to be a music video. We filmed the first 1 minute 50 seconds of the music video which was hard to edit as some of the shots were less than a second. This obiviuosly gave us an inside of what it will be like to film our own choice of music video we will do in our chosen groups. This also tells us that the majority of music videos are all cut on high cut ration, to impress audiences of certain types nd to also look atrractive and lip synced weel as it's important for artists.

 

A variety of shots and andles were shown in the music video which which is effective and recognisable to the genre.
